ALANYA

Alanya, in the south of Turkey, is one of the most beautiful cities on the Riviera on the so-called "blue coloured coast". It lies in front of the mountains with red earth, surrounded by two large sandy beaches and beach promenades with hotels, bars, cafes and restaurants.Alanya is an ideal location for holidays: comfortable, elegant, with a lot of green areas. In winter we have a mild Mediterranean climate.

Alanya is one of the important centres of Turkey for fruit and vegetable culture. The land is good for growing lemons, oranges and bananas and woods of Aleppotrees (20m high) and Libanon trees.

Alanya is not only in the summer perfect, there is little to separate it from its winter. With the European citizen who flee's from the cold wet Europe, and gladly spends there winter under the sun over here. Climatically the winter is mild and is free from frost. Mild temperatures between 15 and 18 degrees you will find here between December and April. Anywhere else in Turkey you will not find the Taurus Mountains as near as here in Alanya
