KUSADASI

named the bird island - is situated approximately 90 km south of Izmer and offers several historic sites.

Kusadasi is a harbour town, with an exciting nightlife, there are many shops and several small bazaars located here. From the harbour you can see "Pegion" Island where many of the locals live permantly. From the harbour it is possible to go by boat to the Greek island of Samos.

A few kilometres from the town you will find Dilek Park, which is known as the picnic park with its long sandy beach. The beach is very quiet and with so few visitors you would believe it was your own private beach. Do not be bewildered or frightened when you see a wild pig family wondering around in the afternoon.

From Kusadasi the trip could go to Izmir, which is a very modern European city. The city is also known for its military offices.
